Summer Day Camps

SUMMERTIME JUMP ROPE CAMPS FOR KIDS 6-12 OF ALL SKILL LEVELS.

Our hugely popular jump rope camps run 3 hours per day, 5 days a week at Seattle area clubs.  Kids aged 6-12 learn a variety of single rope skills, long rope, partner and double dutch routines.  Group games, team-building and fun, are a HUGE part of our programming.

All camps are designed by Rene Bibaud and instructors are trained in Rene’s unique curriculum and teaching style.  Locations vary.  Camps are a great fit for kids of all skill levels, as we offer a variety of learning opportunities for all steps in the learning process. Whether you’re on a jump rope team, or if you’re just getting started, Ropeworks JUMP camps are a perfect fit!  All camps culminate with a performance for friends and family.  Many Summer 2011 dates are currently being set up.  See calendar below for confirmed camp locations.

We run classes at Opstad Elementary, Coe Elementary, Westside School, Blaine, Christ the King, Horace Mann, Island Park, French American School, West Woodland, John Stanford, Greenwood, Our Lady of the Lake, Island Park and more. Contact Ropeworks to coordinate a program at your school.  See our class calendar below for contact information at each school and dates for existing classes.

ROPEWORK NATION  CONCEPT

National after‐school jump rope program.

Ropework Nation is the dream in progress of Creator, Rene Bibaud.  Rene’s goal is a “rope in every hand” through corporate sponsors, and high quality classes and camps offered nationwide.  We’re getting there.

Our hour-long, after-school jump rope program instills Rene’s unique approach to teaching rope jumping through a unique “smart sequencing” method of skill development; to help virtually anyone learn rope jumping in a fun and rewarding way. Combined with our special focus on character education and using the rope as a working metaphor for goal setting, best effort and avoiding comparing ourselves with others we can convey positive messages to our students.

Students will learn a variety of single rope skills, partner routines, long rope activities, and double dutch jumping in a truly positive setting.  Most importantly our goal is to help students make a positive connection with physical activity.

Students learn the benefits of this lifetime fitness activity, improve coordination, timing, foot speed, endurance, build bone density and develop lean muscle mass.  See locations and dates of current offering below.

Rene is a five-time world champion, ESPN commentator and former artist and coach of Cirque Du Soleil. She is an educator, motivational speaker and entertainer with a special focus on youth fitness and specialty performances. Rene is also an articulate speaker who excels at sharing the benefits of the single best fitness tool available – the jump rope.
